Summary: Disappointing anti-virus
Comment: Have used the 2 prior versions of this product and really liked it. This one kept experiencing file corruptions and it never updated in automatic or daily mode and support was dreadful. Finally uninstalled the product and installed a free ms anti virus. What a waste of money.

Comment: I have used Kaspersky for about three + years and never had a problem with slow downs or anything like that. My computer starts up a lot better now with Kaspersky than before with other Anti-Virus products! Kaspersky Anti-Virus 2010 is a great Anti-Virus and I would recommend it to anyone.

Comment: I love this product. I have purchased it 2 times. The only problem is that after three months, you are required to update it or purchase a new one. So I have gone with another brand. I can't afford to buy a new product every couple of months.

Summary: Kaspersky 2010 made my laptop unstable & boot-up slow
Comment: About a year ago I got a VAIO Laptop with Vista 64bit. For about a year I had Windows Live OneCare which ran without causing any glitch with fast boot-up times.
Since Live OneCare shut down, I resorted to Kaspersky based on cnet reviews.
Ever since installing this Kaspersky AntiVirus 2010 I have noticed some problems:
1. The boot-up is now much slower than before. ->Not my biggest complaint
2. The laptop sometimes freezes. -> Very annoying
3. The windows has started crashing every week after it tries to come out of sleep/hibernate mode. -> Extremely annoying
Besides the annoyance, I wonder if Kaspersky has partially destroyed the Windows operating system. I am definitely not going to continue with Kaspersky for 2011 or in near future. Can I get my money back and actually uninstall Kaspersky completely from my system? It seems cnet reviews are only partially reliable.

Summary: Best Anti virus
Comment: I bought this because my older version did not work in windows 7. I'm glad I made this choice, because it found things hidden in the system. The 2010 version is actually better than any prior release. Faster scan times, better interface, Does not hog up all my system resources, and you do have a choice if it starts up with windows or not. For $10.00 a year you cant go wrong. Trust me don't get those other anti-virus programs.
