Summary: It's a cable, not too complex, if you need it, buy it.
Comment: Cable does what it's supposed to, external hard drive is faster than my internal now, significantly faster than USB cable. Only complaint is that the cable is very flat and, because of it, is not very flexible in small spaces. But hey, I ordered a cable and thats what I got.

Comment: I got this along with a Esata card and I didn't use either one because I brought a new computer.

Summary: Good, cheap eSATA cable
Comment: I went through 3 eSATA cables before I found this one, and this cable is a clear winner. It isn't as stiff as my other cables so I don't have to sit my devices three hundred feet from the wall in order to get the cable to fit properly, and the connection seems much more reliable than others I've tried (comparable to USB thus far). I had sort of assumed that eSATA was a trade-off with USB before I found this. Now I realize it's just better.

Summary: Great, but not for the EX-hardrive
Comment: This cable is plenty of length and would recommend that you dont go over 6ft. I ran into problems with my external hard drive no detecting the cable thats all trying to get it fixed through Seagates company. BTW Seagate 1TB/USB.20/400firewire model.
