Comment: At [this price], some might find it worthwhile. But buyer beware - this is a homemade production that gives almost no insight. I was routinely left frustrated as the narrator would take a certain path without the slightest amount of justification or explanation. Most people would be better off installing the OS a couple of times on their own. In short, it's better than nothing, but not a whole lot better.

Comment: I have purchased this video, and the author very thoroughly knows his subject matter! The author walks you through the intimidating first steps of loading a new operating system that will compete with the Microsoft monopoly, and does it with amazing ease and thorough detail! I would highly recommend this video, and it will definitely give you an option on the current OS wars that are going on! The amazing thing about this OS (Mandrake 6.x version) is that it will run CIRCLES around the best OS that Microsoft can release at this time - NT 4.0!!!! And I am including web serving, file sharing, all of it! Very Recommended! And if you don't believe my claims here, check the current price of NT 4.0/2000...... That will convince you to try an alternative!
